Sam Montgomery-Eliminated Michigan-Down To LSU, Tenn, NC
Jeron Stokes-Michigan, Illinois and Tenn, decision is going to made today, his Dad likes Illinois, Jeron likes Tenn
Quinton Washington-Came back from Miami visit. Quinton did not go to school yesterday, decision will come down today, was told to sleep on it last night, it is between Michigan and South Carolina
Denard Robinson and Adrain Whitty have made their decsion and will let everyone know tomorrow. Florida is confident, but his coach says Michigan is the team to beat. Things in favor, early playing time, teamate offer, in coaches visit
Peralie Graves-could go either way, liked Texas Tech, liked Tenn, Family likes Michigan
Daquition Jones-Will probably go to Michigan
Rumor on recruiting trail (Sam didn't say this, but I've read several sources say Ron Zook is spreading) is that RR is going only be here for one more year because he is going to be fired

Thanks as always Rockie (no links today?). At this point the only near-certain deal seems to be Robinson/Witty and one DT, and I think that alone will round out this class nicely. Stokes would be a good get, but we do have some depth at that position, with two good ones coming in next year.
Call me crazy, I still think we see one surprise recruit pop out of nowhere, like Barnum last year.

Robinson and Witty are NOT announcing together. Witty at 11am, and Denard at 7 pm. This does not look good at all for UM. I'm considering him a UF lock until I hear different.
Not to sound too pessimistic, but I could see UM only landing Witty tomorrow. And with Graves and Jones staying blue. However, there is still room for a surprise recruit that we haven't heard about.

I read the same thing about Denard Robinson. Apparently Urban Cryer told him he would share time with Tebow this year...Yeah, Riiiiggghhhhttt!

I didn't know the fact on the announcement times. Where did you see that? You are right though, I think if Robinson was going to be Blue they would announce together at 11 AM. That sucks, Meyer will not play him at QB at all this year like he says in the Miami Herald article unless he brings him in for one or two plays a game.

If we don't get Robinson or Stokes I will be very dissapointed. Now I know if we keep Graves & Jones and add Whitty & Washington the class will still be good. But to miss out on a 2nd QB and an outside WR when all you hear is good things about them committing will be very dissapointing imo.
I have a bad feeling come tomorrow.

Which makes it seem like UF will be the announcement even more. Why put it on tv and not have Witty join if both are going to the same school? It only makes sense to have different announcement times if they're going to different schools. I'm hoping he still chooses UM, but I'm very doubtful.

According to mgoblog, they will BOTH announce at 11:15am and BOTH be on TV tomorrow night at 7pm. If that's the case, then Michigan looks pretty good.

According to Rivals, they will both announce and sign at 11:15 and then both be on TV tomorrow night at 7. Also, they say Robinson will decide between Michigan and Central Florida. Don't they mean Florida or did I miss something?

UM may land 2 prized recruits
Robinson rated as 14th-best QB
The coach for two high school football players Michigan is targeting said the Wolverines have a "great opportunity" to land both of them Wednesday on national signing day.
Quarterback Denard Robinson and receiver/cornerback Adrian Witty, both of Deerfield Beach (Fla.) High School, want to play together in college and may very well pick UM, former Deerfield coach Art Taylor said in a telephone interview Monday. Taylor coached Robinson and Witty for the last three years but was fired as coach after last season.
"Michigan has a great opportunity, a really good chance of getting both of them," Taylor said. "They enjoyed their trip up there [to Ann Arbor Jan. 9] and they always talk about Michigan."
Robinson, a prototypical dual-threat quarterback Wolverines coach Rich Rodriguez covets to run his spread-option offense, and Witty will make their announcement at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Kansas State made offers to both, while Robinson is said by Scout.com to have received offers from Ohio State, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Miami, West Virginia and Central Florida.
Taylor said Robinson and Witty were smart enough to "do what's best for their individual careers," but "if the opportunity to play together at the same school is there, it does add interest."
It sounds like UM wants to give Robinson and Witty that opportunity. Taylor said Wolverines offensive coordinator Calvin Magee and secondary coach Tony Gibson diligently pursued the Deerfield Beach standouts.
Robinson is the more highly touted recruit of the two and the one who, if he chooses UM, will arrive with the most fanfare. Rated the 14th-best quarterback in the country by Rivals.com, Robinson would compete with fellow freshman Tate Forcier and incumbents Steven Threet and Nick Sheridan in the fall.
Forcier is from San Diego Scripps Ranch High and is ranked as the nation's fifth-best quarterback by Rivals.com. He gained a head start on Robinson by enrolling at UM for the current semester and will participate in spring practice.
"I think Denard knows Forcier is there, but he's the type of kid that has that competitive mindset," Taylor said. "It's not cockiness, it's just being a competitor. Denard wants to show he's the best every time he's on the field."
Robinson, 6-foot and 179 pounds, has the nickname "shoelace" because Taylor said he couldn't tie his shoes in elementary and middle school. Now he ties defenses in knots with his ability to move in space.
According to ESPN.com's evaluation of Robinson, he "has supreme quickness, burst and acceleration and has a knack for pulling a rabbit out of his hat when he gets in trouble; [t]hrows extremely well on the move, especially to his right; [i]s a highly competitive player that is always trying to make things happen and usually comes up with the big play."
UM currently has at least 20 commitments in its 2009 recruiting class, including seven players who have already enrolled. Forcier is on campus now, as is five-star defensive tackle William Campbell, defensive backs Vladimir Emilien and Mike Jones, linebacker Brandin Hawthorne, defensive end Anthony LaLota and running back Vincent Smith.
Rodriguez has said he is shooting for a class of 25 recruits. He will announce and discuss his second recruiting class as UM's coach with the media at 3 p.m. tomorrow.

Haha, I just saw this. Apparently, they'll be announcing together twice. Well, that makes me feel better, but I'm not so sure they'll be announcing the same team. We'll see.

After reading that, I have a gut feeling that they will both choose Michigan. Reading the Toledo Blade article with their coach gave me some confidence. Quotes like...
"Michigan has a great opportunity, a really good chance of getting both of them," Taylor said. "They enjoyed their trip up there [to Ann Arbor Jan. 9] and they always talk about Michigan."
"I think Denard knows Forcier is there, but he's the type of kid that has that competitive mindset," Taylor said. "It's not cockiness, it's just being a competitor. Denard wants to show he's the best every time he's on the field."

I know what you mean. I almost spit out my lemonade when I read UCF over UF. I don't know how true that is though...
Tomorrow will bring some surprises i'm sure!

Apparently UCF is correct.
Denard Robinson: UM/UCF battle
Florida guys on the Rival Mainboard said some news came out that UF is out of it for Robinson, and it'll be UCF vs UM again for a 4* from Florida.
Apparently Robinsons girlfriend and cousin are going to UCF, so they are a legit threat, plus he'll see early PT.

What kills me is the early PT? He will get that opportunity at a much bigger football in Michigan. Plus they offered his buddy. He can definitely find skirt in Michigan, especially playing QB.
Why do women always hold men down? Russell Sheppard is another one with gf issues!!!

You don't need to convince me, I'd commit to UM in a heartbeat if they offered.
Maybe it's the weather. Orlando is a beautiful city, probably the nicest in the state.

Denard lives in Florida so it's not a change of scenary for him. Could you imagine playing QB in the winged helmet of Michigan? Only if dreams could come true....

My kid will do that...even if its a chick.
I probably shouldn't call my kid a 'chick' though.
