The young Buckeyes pulled off a nice upset last night in Columbus by beating Purdue in overtime. It was nice to see OSU play a complete game and shoot as well as they did against one of the best defenses in the nation. They worked for their shot and had great movement. Not once did they need to create space by swing their elbows either. They don't teach that style of basketball at OSU.

Could the OSU fans have been more lethargic during that game? They did realize they weren't watching golf, right? That basketball arena at OSU is the most boring venue in sports. I think it put Purdue to sleep.

It was just the opposite. The announcers were saying over and over how loud the fans were. Sounds like sour grapes to me.

You act like the elbows helped Michigan. Im sure before the 2nd Half Coach said "Manny, I know you are our best player, best scorer and main offensive threat, but I need you to take one for the team and elbow that white douchebag from Purdue in the face."
Manny replied "Why?"
Coach responds "Because we are winning and nobody wants that to happen."
It was unintentional and everyone knows it. It it wasn't, they why wasn't he punished by the Big 10.

Bowser from Shanana called the tUOS basketball team - he wants his sleeveless t-shirt back.

The tv announcers noted how loud it was too. Hey I agree, usually it is lethargic in the schott. Too many blue hairs in there, and the students should be on the floor. Until that changes, you'll never have as crazy an atmoshere as they have in Crisler arena, Chapel Hill or anything. Hell, I've listened to people talk about being asked to sit down during a game. That never happens at football games and it shouldn't at a basket ball game either.

Well if we're still talking about elbows, just be careful when any of you play Indiana. Their player Devan Dumes threw three elbows that made contact before he was ejected with about two minutes left. One hit Roe in the face, one hit Suton in the nuts (yeah, seriously), and the other hit Herzog in the back. Oh well I just heard Crean suspended him, so problem avoided.

I didn't hear: did Boone use his elbows during his drunken destructive rampage in California before getting tazed and arrested?

Good read. The nice thing is that there is the tournament thing at the end of the year where teams from other conferences play each other in some sort of elimination type situation where at the end, one team can say that they are undoubtedly the best team in the country. Crazy idea right? I hope football never does anything risky like that. I'm really starting to lose interest in college football because of this. I can't wait for March Madness though. The first day of the tourney and St. Patty's Day fall on the same day. Yes I've checked and yes I've taken the day off of work.
