Wow, I really never considered the lions taking a DT, but Nick Fairley (94 rating) is going to be regarded as one of the best steals of the draft for a while.

Putting this guy next to Suh is going to be... dominating. More than one person has already suggested this puts the Lions on track to have THE BEST defense in the NFL in 2-3 years.

I don't think I have EVER heard that phrase in my entire life.

I really hope they still address the LT issue in a solid way because if they do, they just put themselves back on the map. I have more hope for the Lions than I have had since the Sanders/Moore/Perriman days...

Everything lies on Stafford now. I hope he can settle in and become the QB we all want him to be. They just have to protect him better.
