I will be making the trip from southern Ohio (Dayton area) to Ann Arbor Saturday to watch our boys get some revenge on the Dukies. (screw the Cameron Crazies, what about the Chrysler Crazies!!) I've been to Ann Arbor 3 or 4 times for football games, but have always tailgated before the game. I plan on getting up there before the game to grab some lunch and maybe a few beers. Where is a good place to go on campus near Chrysler Arena to do so....

Go check out Ashley's.

They've got a ton of fantastic beers on tap and draft. Right downtown too, probably a ten minute walk from Chrysler's.

By the way, I believe it's Crisler arena - as in Fritz Crisler...

Is Ashley's a sports bar type of atmosphere? I would like to be able to go somewhere with TV's to catch some of the Florida/Alabama game if possible. Plus, I want to be able to go somewhere where every place I look, I see Maize and Blue instead of Scarlett and Gay like I do in the sports bars here in Ohio. Thanks for your imput...

Ashleys is great for drinking, but the TV setup sucks. Some of the sports-y bars are
State St: Ashleys, BW3s (great TV setup), Bar Louie (good TV setup, about 3 blocks off State on Liberty), Touchdowns (Maynard, total sports bar).
South U: Brown Jug, Good Time Charleys, Mitch's.
Main: Monkey Bar, Connor O Neils (Irish), Den (on Washington off Main), Arbor Brewing Company, Grizzly Peak..
