Lane Kiffin calls Urban Meyer a cheat!

Anyone see the embarrassing mistake by Kiffin - accusing Urban Meyer in public of a recruiting violation, when it turns out it was not a recruiting violation. Is this the funniest thing ever. How small did he feel when he found out Meyer was in the right? First, he looks like a fool to his fan base and the country for not knowing the rules. Second, he just completely pissed Urban off for calling him a cheat in public. Urban, probably was already upset by the prediction Lane made his first day on the job: "We're going to go down to the Swamp and beat FL next year." Third, he had to swallow his dumbas$ pride and make a public apology.

Well, if any one remembers the FL/UGA game this year, FLA was winning 45-10 with about 1 min to go, when Urban called 3 consecutive timeouts just to make the UGA team and fans sit and suffer for every last second. Word has it that Urban actually "likes" Mark Richt and respects him; he was just getting back for that ridiculous celebration the year before. What does Lane have coming?????? I'm going to say a 70 to something beatdown, 3 consecutive timeouts, and maybe even a little sometin' sometin' in the post game press conference.

I know you guys have the UM/OSU rivalry, which is recognized by many as the best rivalry in sports. However, FL is like no place in the country either. They have three legitimate rivals: Tenn, UGA, and FSU. All of which, I guarantee, have a hatred as deep as UM/OSU.

Meyer had the 5th or 6th rated class in the country and that's just because we only signed 16 guys, half of which were in the ESPN top 150. We didn't have many scholarships to give this year and all of our D (2-deep) is coming back this year. I'm suprised we got Jalani Jenkins at all.

As far as "New Keys" Richardson, he's going to have to watch FL pound his team for the next 4 years and regret that he didn't go to FL. That ought to be about 8 straight by the time he graduates. I guarantee that Meyer wasn't happy with Lane's comments. Listening to a local radio show, a columnist texted Urban about Lane's comments. All Urban said was, "This ain't over." I can't wait to play Tennessee....it's going to be wonderful.

makes me wonder if crazy al davis wasn't so crazy when he said he fired Kiffin "for cause" because Kiffin lied to him. it seems kiffin likes to run his mouth a bit.
