View Full Version : Should the Lions go after Vick?

Rumors are that the 49'ers are going after him, but I think the lions should give him a 1-2 year deal, build a line this year, then get a QB next year in the draft. They should be able to get Vick pretty cheap, and he would help a line learn at least.

Why not? Even if he stays out of trouble for at most a month during the season and wins even 50% of his games, the Lions go 2-14!! That is like 0 x infinity better!!

i agree with this but i do not think he should be making the millions he was before.

Franchises that have issues should not sign players with issues. It does no good for rebuilding the franchise. It would be a horrible move IMO.

im confused , the detroit lions died a long time ago, 1957 i believe. until ford gets rid of the team ,they dont exist, now that the greedy auto corp, are cutting back ,i suppose the public will have more of a chance to get tickets for the games, this will be true in all sports ,and if we are smart i hope it backfires on them, they didnt need us be/4 ,and soon they will be beggin for us, how sad and pathetic, MY OPINION THEY NEED TO HIT ROCK BOTTOM..

blueisbetterthenred, but last year the lions won the pre season championship at 4 -0, so for them thats really good, to much celebrating after their title..

So Kitna is gone, can't say I'm sad. He tried, he just doesn't have what it takes to be an elite QB in the league.

Also nice to see Hanson locked up through 2013. :)

Poor guy. I really feel sorry for him. He has been such a great kicker for so long and he has to play with the Lions.

WHY WOULD THE LIONS GO AFTER VICK , did he steal somthing from them.
