They lost greene to the draft. Iowa doesn't reload crews.....

The Big Ten needs more high level performers, I'd like to see Iowa, or any other team play like they mean it this coming season...in addition to PSU and the other one. It all starts with talking shiat, like you're doing now.

Hell winning the Big Ten and going to the Rose Bowl is just like playing for a national title, cause that team has to play USC...which is by far the best program right now. Whoever can beat them has really done something IMO.

Yeah but maybe some of their recruits are just now getting out of jail and should be ready for the Spring game.

great news , as long as we dont have to suffer thru another national disaster like with ohio state , sounds good to me, but watch out in 2010 for the MICHIGAN WOLVERINES,,

Jewel Hampton averaged 5 yards a carry as a freshman last year. Ran for almost 500 yards behind Greene. He should be able to get to 1,200 easy if he stays healthy with the line we will have. He won't run over people like Greene, but sure can run by them.

I would love to see anothe rteam in B10 actually be competitive. Iowa has their chance to prove it this year as they have to play some of the better teams in the conference.

Now if we could just get back the old Hawks guy that we all used to tolerate......

gonna be tough to win anything with half the team watching from the activity room in the county slammer. maybe iowa wants to work on players not being jackasses before they worry about championships.

I don't know if anyone's heard about USC forfeiting the September game at the Shoe. Apparently, Pete Carroll doesn't think there's any way the Trojans can win in Columbus. In a recent interview he said - "Pryor's gained a lot of experience since our last game against them. In all honesty, we were very lucky to win the game against them last year. We benefited from a home field advantage - and unbeknownst to Coach Tressel, we sent about 100 SoCal chickies to the Buckeyes hotel - and they were just exhausted for the game. I doubt we'll be able to get away with that in Columbus."

Dude give it a rest and let the thread die. There is no way that Iowa wins the NC next year. If they even make a BCS bowl it will be another slaughtered Big Ten team. Put it this way OSUNUt has a better chance of getting laid than Iowa winning the NC.
