This just got started on the Rivals msg boards, but it seems like Ricardo miiiight be playing for Huron High School (besides Jackson!) for his senior year! I know his family was moving to Michigan at some point, so that may be why, but all the same, wow! Hopefully something official comes out soon, but it definitely appears to have legs to it.

Ricardo confirmed it via text msg, said nothing official (paperwork, I'm guessing) yet.

The only thing I think is not cool about that is that Miller has been an awesome recruiter for M. There is a lot of Michigan buzz in with Florida kids right now and having Miller stay there might make it easier to get to some recruits. Although this is just speculation cause I really dont know

I'm sure he can stay on the kids in Florida via text messages or phone conversations...All in all, it would be nice to have him in Michigan just for commitment purposes. The coaches staff will have easier access to him throughout the year and won't have to make plane trips to see him...

Thats right GoBlue21. Also, he might be able to work on a few guys in Michigan now. I think the buzz in Florida is bigger than Ricardo. RR and the program are creating that buzz with the guys they pulled in this last class. Athletes in Fla are already wanting to play for RR. Imagine what will happen when UM has a good year. No doubt Ricardo would have helped, but like gb21 said above, he can still contact those guys.

The one thing that I would be worried about is Ricardo possibly losing his 5th star. Yeah, people say ratings don't mean anything, but then go on to use their team ranking or individual rankings in another argument. So, they do mean something. Ricardo and Jeremy may not have a decent qb to get them the ball, so their production may go down. On the flip side, the defense cannot key on one guy, so their production may go way up, IF the qb can distribute the ball.

My biggest concern: is he officially a Midwest recruit now? If so, does that make him slower? And does it count against our FL haul next year :( ?

He will end up a three star now. He is already a Michigan commit, so the recruiting boards will take a star away and now that he is in the Midwest another star will go away.

Also Sam Webb confirms this. Says Ricardo texted him this morning (at an odd time).
