Troy Smith being paid, MC and his too numerous to count violations, TP shady dealings while dealing with OSU before signing day, when will OSU finally be brought down?
There isn't a single college football fan that thinks OSU is doing things fairly, so when do they get brought down.
Lots of money being paid for bowl defeats.
"Also, claims by more former Ohio State football players that tutors wrote papers for them and fans arranged easy jobs don't indicate NCAA violations because the university didn't sanction or arrange the help, an athletics department spokesman."
Always nice to see OSU hide behind the university didn't sanction excuse.

Andy Moeller use to tell me stories all the time about Ohio $tate, that is why I put the $ there, but he also use to say that nothing is going to be done about it. Just like nothing will be done with U$C. There might of been substance to what Clarette said, but he lost all creditability in the way he acted. WTKA always said that the NCAA is basically a police for Basketball and Ohio State can prove that when their coach (his name is escaping me) gave a Big Mac and a gym bag in the late 80's early 90's to a recruit and they got put on probation for it. Michigan Basketball program was dirty with money all the way back to Frieder, it just it all came out with Fisher and got cleaned up with Ammaker

If the Columbus Dispatch weren't just a propoganda machine for OSU football they would have brought down the program years ago. OSU football rules the state, so no reporter has the balls to investigate what everyone knows goes on.

I was just disappointed by your post. I was really hoping to see something of substance. I was hoping there was an article or something.

The NCAA doesn't want to bring down the big football programs. If they did, USC would have been brought down years ago, and the SEC would no longer exist.

For some reason the NCAA seems pretty good in policing the basketball programs but not football. You could spend allot of time naming all the basketball programs that got in trouble, but have trouble coming up with 5 in football. Hmmmmm.....

We can't beat them or out recruit them - so we will sling mud at them. Ohio State is no different then any other college. In fact I would worry more about RR doing something wrong then Tressel. Chris Henry and Adam Jones were both RR recruits - so maybe you shouldn't be throwing stones.
Worry about who your QB is going to be, who is going to play defense and if your going to win more then 3 games this year. Ohio State is doing just fine.

I know it's all doom and gloom since we lost a very average pro style qb that did not fit our system. We should be so worried. Honestly I wasn't expecting Threet to get the start anyway.

One of my best friends from high schools played at OSU. Google Bjorn "BJ' Barre and see what comes up. Then ask what is true and what is not. I used to go visiting him when he played. He lived in the Towers next to the Shoe and had tons of cash to party, and didn't have a job. I have first hand knowledge of the luxuries of playing Football for OSU.

There was plenty about how Tressel had to clean up quick after Troy Smith. It does not look as though he did. But it does not matter.
With the crap USC has gotten away with in the past few years, no team can be called anything less than altar boys, even OSU. I cannot believe that there is no investigation findings yet over the Reggie Bush fiasco.
But the "we can't beat them" interests me. We will do that this November when a weak and green OSU team fraught with infighting comes to Ann Arbor and gets smashed. This is coming....

They just don't care. Look at the way they tossed away Mo. He gave them a shot at winning the NC game (lost to Miami as we all know) and when he needed guidance and leadership it wasn't to be found. What went down with Mo is just a perfect example of OSU being a football factory with zero regard to making these kids turn into productive adults.
To this day I also will never forgive JT for having our players searched before the game a few years back. Not only is he a loser of a coach but he sucks at being a person of honor. Must be the Youngstown way of raising your kids into adults, cheat to win and dress really bad.

Zoom in closer on this pic -notice the passenger door is open, and if you hold up a magnifying glass to it, you'll see a gray haired guy in a sweater vest hunched over puking out what could only be TP's bodily fluid (JT must have used his teeth, as evidenced by TPs covering of the groin area). Damn, TP, as if the car by itself wasn't enough...
