From the UNC site...Tate has committed to UNC...considering playing baseball at UNC also...may still go into the MLB Draft...

+1, i don't see him passing up millions of dollars in the MLB to play college football

Definitely a risky recruit since your using up a scholarship offer on someone who might not even play football. I doubt he turns down MLB.

Anyone else notice UNC's doing great in recruiting this year?

If he doesn't go as high as he wants in the draft, he still is at one of the best programs in the us, right now. Also, I don't know how old he is, but, he could potentially play ball for two years and then go pro. But, if he's younger, he'll have to wait three years.
