It has been great watching the Lions this year. They have had some mistakes but overall they have a solid team with some real threats on it. The only thing lacking is a solid back, Best seems to still have the injury bug. Kevin Smith has been very good stepping back into a role he knows is most likely only temporary.

I have been the most impressed with Stafford. This is really his first full season he has played through and he broke 5,000 passing yards, despite having a broken/sprained power finger for 2 games where he threw 4 picks.

If Stafford/Megatron/Best/Nate all are healthy next year, along with the D, WATCH OUT! Stafford will break Brees' passing record next year if he is healthy every game, bank on it. This guy is getting really good at reading defenses and he still hasn't started 32 games (2 full seasons).

On paper they will probably lose by 10 points down in New Orleans on Saturday, but this team can beat anyone they go up against when they are hitting on all cylinders. Anything is possible in the playoffs, GO LIONS!

It's been so long since anyone has been able to talk about the Lions in the
playoffs, congrats to the entire team for finally getting over that hump!

I am very happy about what the Lions have done this season. I have been a Lions fan for quite awhile, and seeing them back in the playoffs is so great to see after the garbage Millen years. The loss to the Packers last week sucked because I think they had a great chance at beating New York rather than the Saints, but it showed that there are things the team still needs to work on. Offensive line and the secondary really need to be addressed this offseason.

There are a few out there who don't like Schwartz because of his team's lack of discipline, but the guy was the perfect hire. I don't think I would like his type of style/attitude on the Michigan sideline, but I sure as hell love seeing him fired up on the Lions sideline. I love the future of the Detroit Lions.
