Same as it ever was, a Michigan man in the Super Bowl.

Tom Brady is a ''California man''. He was born and raised in California, not Michigan. :-) Nice try

Michigan takes boys and turns them into men, just like they did with Tom. He left california a boy, came to Michigan and left a man who is slowly chasing down a lot of #1 records.

Not even a nice try.

Rico,

Are you suggesting that The University of Michigan and Tom Brady aren't associated in any manner?

Just having a little fun. We wouldn't be able to take credit for Craig krenzel............now would we. Brady was a late bloomer, but boy did he ever bloom! I would have thought that Drew Hensen would have been the best qb ever at UM.

Rico,

I do think that Krenzel is one of the best QB's that Ohio has ever produced. It's great to notice that while Krenzel is calling Buckeye games that Brady is actually playing in the NFL...

5th superbowl isn't really "playing" in the NFL so much as it is dominating.

Yeah, his wife isn't too hard on the eyes either! :-)

What we SHOULD be talking about is how Ted Gin can't stay on the field. His injury is what cost SF the game.

What is it about O$U that produces such weak NFL players?

In my opinion if Drew came back his final year he would have been. I remember seeing him at a Durham Bulls games right after he left for baseball. There he was in front of 600 people playing terrible. I wanted to run on the field and slap him over the head and say "you left football for this?"

I remember how glad I was when he left for baseball. I was certain that OSU would never win against the Wolverines as long as he was their quarterback! The kid was good..........real good. I wonder what he is doing now?

byebyelloyd,

Come on - do you really think that Brady is any good? I mean, all he did yesterday was tie the record for most post-season / playoff wins for a quarterback. Do you think that means anything? Heck - he's only tied the record - he hasn't even set it yet... (of course, this is what most Ohio fans would say.)

Think about this stat that I heard earlier in the day...

Tom Brady has been a starting QB in the NFL for 10 full seasons (taking out the injury year), he has been to the Super Bowl in half of those 10 seasons!

That is an amazing stat. Here's another one:

With the win on Sunday Tom Brady became tied with Joe Montana with 16 post season wins. If the Pats win the Super Bowl, he will have 17 post season wins, and become the all time winningest post season QB in NFL history.

With a win, you'd have to imagine he should be anointed "The Greatest QB" ever!

Go Pats, Go Tom, Go Blue!

You'd think, but already I head Fag... I mean Pat O'Brien MC'ing this discussion: "If Tom Brady wins on Sunday, will he be able to be mentioned in the same breath as Montana?"

Not is he better/had a bigger impact than Montana... just will he be worthy of living in the same sentence as Montana.

Talk about setting the goal posts out in the street.
