Up 6 at half. Michigan is getting a lot of hands on passes but can't quite get the turnovers. Expect a tight finish.

EDIT: Maryland starts the second half with a run and they are now up 3. Weak ball handling by the Wolverines could doom them.

FWIW, they've normally been a better second half team so far.

Maryland up 7 with 2:30 left after a dunk and a big 3 pointer. Not a good second half for the Maize and Blue.

EDIT: Time to get ready for Duke. This team needs some of these other guys to step-up. Everyone defers to Harris or Sims instead of making it happen themselves.

Good showing, needed to make a couple more plays and not turn the ball over. They are on the way.

i agree, i still like where we are headed...17 offensive rebounds killed us, its frustrating but maryland made more plays. Big game against duke on saturday. Would be a HUGE win if we play well enough

I watched Duke again yesterday and they are very unselfish. Plus, they play great defense which basically shut us down last game.

Yes, the rebounds and the lack of scoring in the second half. They look good.

Agreed...last season we would have been blown out of the water by these ACC teams, but now we are able to hang tight with them. We need to be able to pull off some of these close ones though if we want to make it back to the big dance. The team is so young though, mostly consist of Freshman and sophmores and a Junior (Simms). Between basketball and football, I dont know what Carr and T. Amakar (spelling) were doing with all of their recruits because there are no upperclassmen on either squad!!

Go Blue, Beat Duke!!!!

Amaker had a ton of kids leave the program.

Amaker was also a poor recruiter.
