Regular Season Finale - against Minny - what do you think?

What do you hope to see today?

I'm hoping that we'll be "hot enough" from the perimeter and that the 1-3-1 can shut down or control the Gophers.

A win would be a very nice thing... get us set for the Big 10 tourney.

I think that if we win today and 1 in the B10 tourney we are in. The Iowa loss killed us.

Depending on whom you talk to, winning today will either secure or nearly secure a NCAA bid. I'd rather not think of a what if scenario beyond that; this game should be treated as a must-win and is a big challenge, especially given how good Minny has been at home.

LLP picked the perfect time to have a (hopefully) breakout game. They shouldn't keep us out now, the analysts have said all along that UM needs to go 0.5 in B10 play to qualify, and now they should, irrespective of the B10 tournament.

Great game, typical lapses, but good free throw shooting and decision making at the end (plus a stellar game by Lucas-Perry) saved the day.

Michigan should be in - the #10 SOS should be very compelling along with the wins over elite teams earlier in the season. But a good showing in the Big-10 tourney will make it a done deal.

There is no doubt that Michigans resume is good enough to be in the tournament but What scares me is playing a team like Iowa or Northwestern on Thursday. If they win then it helps a little but at this point there in anyway. If they lose then that can be one more reason to not include M in the dance and we all know that the so called experts will use any ammo they can get against Michigan.
Before the game ALL the ESPN guys picked Minnesota and made comment like "There is no way Michigan wins this game"

And, a fantastic turnaround from last year... I think that what we've seen from the hoops team (in terms of a turnaround) will be similar to what we see on gridiron.

Amen to that, look at the first year results for both Rich and John B. Both were the worse season's in the history of their respective sports at the University of Michigan. We saw what Beliein brought to the table his 2nd year at the helm after he got some of his own guys in there, hopefully we see the same result (hopefully even better) out of Rich's 2nd year.
