Today's the day. Sounds like we will be around a 10 or 11 seed. Wouldn't it be something if we faced West Virginia in the first round?

not really worried who we get to play, we have shown this year that we can compete with any team in the nation on any given day

CBS projects UM as the 10th seed in the South. http://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/story/11233762
Congratulations and good luck!
For the Buckeye members on the board, we're projected as a 6 seed.

I'm watching this and it kind of dissappoints me that the team isn't going along with the fight song. They seem to just be hanging out and the crowd is excited. You would think that they would be more into it.

Is Clemson big inside the paint does anyone know? I do know that they have a killer full court press, so Belien and the boys are going to have to work on breaking that this week...their full court press tore up Duke earlier this season.

Oh man, I know looking ahead is not good to do, but if we beat Clemson then we would get Oklahoma in the 2nd round (Blake Griffith!!!!)
1 win at a time though, wow its great to see Michigan in the dance again...

Well, the B10 gets 7 teams in. The same # as the Big East and ACC. So much for ESPN claims that the Big Ten isnt a strong conference

If you look though, the 7'2" and 6'11" guys don't hardly play at all.

Anyone notice the reward Purdue received for winning three straight games to be the conference tournament champion? Yep, they have to fly to the west coast for a Thursday game. Meanwhile, OSU gets to drive 45 minutes to Dayton for their first game on Friday.
This is the 2nd time in a decade that I can recall where the NCAA committee has screwed our conference champion like this. The other was with OSU some years ago when we had to go to New Mexico for a noon tip off on the first day.
I think the Big Ten Conference should pull the conference tourney from CBS and do it so the championship game is on Saturday afternoon instead.

It's about the ticket sales and the revenue. Ohio State playing in Ohio just makes sense. Although Purdue is technically close, the money doesn't justify Purdue being in Ohio.

Ok CWebb,
Please continue to display your intelligence. Are you implying that the Dayton arena will be sold out with the Buckeyes playing there, but wouldn't have sold out if Purdue was playing there?
If so, I do believe your post has reached a new level of ignorance...

That doesn't explain much at all considering where teams go then. Of the other 8 seeds not one of them is even close to home, in fact another one is in Dayton. In fact, other than UNC and Duke I don't see any other teams playing in their own backyard. In the NCAA tourny they don't have to worry about selling out because the tourny sells out wherever its at and no matter who is playing.
Just come out and admit that you are a Buckeye fan.
