Totally, I wish it was us losing to the Suckeyes and the No 1 in the process.

J/k, but glad the grand state of Michigan is well represented!

Me too, I like it when Michigan (the state) teams do well. Hopefully both teams will go far and represent the Big10 well. I'm getting a little tired of the bashing that seems to be going on for no reason.

Yeah for real I don't mind MSU I always will root for them unless they are playing the 'real' Michigan team. Haha but for real we have much more to be excited about because MSu is always there and I feel us beating Clemson, it is a good matchup and hopefully Manny and Deshawn can come out on fire as well as the whole team. If we hit our 3's we could make a deep run to the Sweet 16 or Elite 8. Call me an optimist but I feel we can do it!!!!! GO BLUE!

Clemson isnt exactly an ideal matchup what with there full court press but I like our chances. Still as happy as I am that Michigan has made the tournament I really hope it doesnt end in the first round

I'm eccstatic that we made it and it's possible they pull off a W or 2 but to be honest they've not been a good road team this year. Either way doesn't matter, I'm just happy they finally made it back.

As for MSU, in basketball I don't mind them and always cheer for them to do well as long as they don't face UM.

While we're at it, how about some props to Bill Martin for a great hire? Guy has taken plenty of heat recently, but he got this one right.

Not to look ahead, but is it too much to wish for Morgan State taking out Okie :p?

And, I maintain the sentiment others have expressed here. I wish Sparty well - and, I'd imagine it would be "quite unreal" if Sparty made the final four - in Detroit...

Wait, I haven't checked the brackets - would it be possible for Michigan and MSU to meet in the final???? Ok, I know I'm dreaming....

Theoretically it would be possible for them to meet in the NC Game, but realistically I don't see it happening. I don't think either team is capable of winning it all this year. It's a nice thought though, we're allowed to dream right?

In case anyone is wondering, I think next year MSU will have a much better chance of seriously competing for the National Title, we lose Suton and Walton (and a few guys who don't really play) but the core of the team is returning along with Morgan (most likely) and an incoming group of freshman who are expected to contribute right away.

Does anyone know where a person could get one of the shirts the whole team was wearing during the selection show?

Yeah the shirts and are shoes are tight!!! I want a pair of those
