NOW MAYBE THE uaw will get what they deserve.AND THESE PEOPLE WONDER WHY THE AUTO INDUSTRY HAS FALLEN APART, what a joke CAN YOU SAY GREEEEEEEED AND ALOT OF LOUSY MISMANAGEMENT ALONG WITH A UNION WHO HAS SUCKED THE LIFE OUT OF THESE COMPANIES, the uaw was worth somthing 40 years ago, but not now. for every 5 decent auto workers their is 10 who are not worth a shhhit. and this is part of why our companies are failing, this would serve these greedy pigs to go under..

Sad, sad state of affairs. I left in 1980, and the same sorts of things were going on back then. I hate to think of how bad it is now. As for the car execs, they pretend like the 70s never happened and are shocked, shocked I say, that higher fuel efficient cars from Japan are selling better than SUVs. The bastards made insane personal gains focusing on the short term sale rather than building their industry for the long haul.
As for the unions, I think the value was evident about 80 years ago, but has long since passed. I worked some summer jobs with a moving company. We were non-union, and couldn't cross a line on the floor. The union guys, making overtime, would do things like push an office chair on wheels, at about 1 MPH, or carry one file folder and hand them to us. No tears for the union, but good workers will be screwed.
I hope the Hail Victors crew is not hurt too much in all this mess.

I should be OK till March. Luckily we are the ones handling the demo of the old press box/new concession area. Plus a hospital in St. Ignace and the Accident Fund project here in Lansing. After that, it looks bleak.
