Sure we know there are other parties but do they have candidates that are electable? The voting populous as a whole will not vote outside the 2 major parties or the occasional independent. Shoot many voters will only vote straight down party lines. My in-laws for example vote Dem every election for every race unless there is not one running, and yet they don't like Obama and they are conservative.
