I'm going to Game 1 on Friday. Tigers are playing at the same time. Any good ideas on where to park and how to avoid the holy-shit-mass-of-humanity after? Keep in mind I've never been to the Joe and Comerica only twice.

Park in the lot in front of the Fox Theater (8 bucks?), grab some cold ones at Hockeytown Cafe, one of the best places to visit for a Wings fan. Then take their free shuttle to the Joe. After the game, take their free shuttle back to Hockeytown and do shots to celebrate Duck-slapping.

Or park at Hockeytown. Take the shuttle to the Joe after a few pops.

I'd like to say Wings in five, but - I think it might be Wings in six. It all depends on how those Ducks play.

Go Wings.... Go...

Wings in 6. Let the sleep deprivation begin as I'll be up late when they play in California next week...

What a tremendous game - by the entire team, but - Lidstrom showed why he's such a special player.

So happy after having Steve Y as captain we moved to another class act in Lindstrom.

Great Game 2 so far. Right now we're going into a third overtime. I'm getting tired just watching them out there.

hail2mich,

I had a bad feeling with the pressure the Wings were applying and control of play in the first two OT's that wound up without a goal.

Time to go out and win two on the west coast.

Tough loss - the defense has to tighten it up in front of Ozzie, there are just too many turnovers and easy paths to the net

Wings in 7 games, isnt it amaizing how teams pick up there game when it is playoff time, hockey is the only sport that you could say, almost any team could win the cup, teams change the play , as sanhosehead found out ,the wings have had the best record a few times and gotten knocked off early..

I love the way the pace of the game picks up - and, how aggressive you see someone in front of the net. And, goaltending IS the difference, IMO. A hot goalie can easily take you an extra round or two in the playoffs.

I will never forgive Montreal for trading Patrick Roy to Colorado - I do wish he would have gone to Quebec instead, but there's no way the Canadiens would have made that trade. And, I was hoping that San Jose would have made it past the first round - since I had hopes of Claude Lemieux being the recipient of several body numbing checks in the series.

Go Wings... take two in Anaheim...
