I couldn't believe it when it happened. Absolutely disgusting. As big and obvious of a mistake by a Zebra as I've ever seen in the playoffs.

worst call i've seen in awhile and you dont blow calls like that in the Playoffs. fire that ref.
That said, the Wings were flat all game. The Ducks took it too em.

Disgraceful call, that ref should be sent packing for the remainder of the playoffs and have his contract with the NHL reviewed. Hopefully he's reffing in some pee-wee league up in Saskatchewan.
Detroit was very flat. I've never seen so many shots miss the entire net. Ozzie was very solid - he was hung out to dry on the Salanne(sp) break-away goal and the other could have been goalie interference.
I expect that in game 4 Detroit will respond. After all, if they win Game 4, it is a best of 3 with 2 games in Detroit, which is a great situation.

Those fucking refs were terrible the entire game, but that call was horrible. What a joke!

6-3 win tonight to even the series 2-2. They still had stretches where they struggled but that was the Detroit I have been waiting for, for the most part. Extra day of rest for travel and back in action in a HUGE game 5 on Sunday!!

4-1 win with 3 others shots off the posts. #13 is still goaless but did you see that flick over the net from behind? no goals but not for lack of trying, wow.
1 more win till the conference game.

One more win this series. I believe that the depth of the Wings is starting to show against the Ducks. I hope we can put them away tomorrow night in Anaheim, and get a bit of rest before the next round.
Both the Canucks and Blackhawks could be very tough in the conference Finals.
Go Wings Go...

Probably one of the nastiest games I've ever seen, I don't see how any of the Eastern Conf teams would match up against the WC Winner. Now, bring on them Hawks !

"Interference" on Hudler (I think) with Hiller and the no-call interference with Ozzie on Selanne's goal come readily to mind. Numerous takedowns from behind, too that seemed to be overlooked and then some pretty f-ing ticky tack hookings. Bettman had his henchmen try their damndest to get them knocked out.

Woulda been nastier if the Wings had been up by 2 or 3 at the end. Would have liked to have seen Abdelkader and Brown go at it. I think it was Game 4 or 5 that Brown was trying to start something with him. Not sure how I would have liked to have seen that one turn out.

What a brutal series, I'm shocked that the Wings aren't more dinged up after that.
I can't believe Detroit won that series without the contributions of their top players. How far can you ride on the backs of players like Cleary, Hudler, Samuelson, etc.? Hopefully Datsyuk, Zetterburg, and Hossa start lighting it up against Chicago . Go Wings!

Getting scoring from people other than their star players is what makes Detroit so hard to beat in a seven game series. The depth of the Wings is amazing. Hard for teams to match up with them. Wings in SIX !
