in addition to UCONN, Boston College in the Big 10/ACC challenge, and taking part in the old spice classic tournament, michigan will also play @ kansas next year, who many think will be preseason #1 with both aldrich and collins returning, along with getting top recruit xavier henry

love what belien is doing scheduling tough teams, really looks good on the resume

Although I have disagreed with some on the board here about SEC football teams necessarily needing a tough OOC schedule, I couldn't be more in line with these comments for basketball. First, I don't know why people want to pay the season ticket prices for a schedule that has been nothing but cupcakes the last two years (UF, that is). Second, it has played no small part in keeping UF out of the dance the last two years. Three, the SEC commissioner recently made a point of telling SEC schools to get a tougher OOC schedule for basketball. I applaud UM on their efforts, and I hope UF will follow suit.

that is so true gator, i always saw florida had like 21 wins but had piss poor RPI and SOS that doomed them

the SEC was a joke in basketball last year, how many made the tournament? LSU was an 8 seed, Mississippi St. needed a miraculous run in their own tournament to make it #13 seed, and i think only one more made it, thats pretty embarrassing although kentucky will be better with calipari if he stops cheating

o and forgot tennessee they were an 8 seed also
