DJ Williamson starred at the State Track Championships today. He won the 100m, anchored the 4X1, 4X2 and was a finalist in the 200m. More top end speed. Kid looks like he can be a special player. I was excited to see him in person.

His ranking on the services has got me completely confused. He's definitely an "under the radar" player.

Don't know about Scout, but Rivals didn't have any tape on him, it went up today I think, so I'm guessing we'll see a rating next time around.

I like the speed that is coming in. I can see RR's plan coming together.

Yeah no doubt! I think it was written here before, but RR is going to use a bit of basketball philosophy on the gridiron -- come at the other team 3 to 5 deep in all the skill positions, and run, run, run, run, run! By the 3rd qtr., the opposing DBs and LBs will be tripping on their tongues. Spread the field, and run the other team into the ground. Mix in a scampering QB, and a BIG BACK, a la Minor, and you've got a recipe for thunder and lightening the likes of which has never been seen in college football.
He did something similar with WVU, but was hamstrung by the fact that it was WVU. As I have said repeatedly in here -- RR is like a kid in a candy store with his recruiting power, and he's also like a kid whose father went out of town and forgot to hide the keys to the Ferrari that's been sitting under a cover in the garage since 1997!
I am all for it! Go BLUE!

Sten,
I think last year the Ferrari was in neutral or reverse for most of the season - this year - I think RR will be driving it in second or third gear. Next year, fourth gear, in 2011 - fifth / sixth gear. It will be great to watch this machine begin to hum. And, regarding the recruits - I do believe that it will open a lot of eyes when people see what exactly the offense can do - and has the potential to do.

No doubt it will get stronger each year and WILL reach the top.

I keep forgetting that in all my 20+ years as a Michigan fan I have never seen the kind of speed that Rodriguez is recruiting. Of all the great teams I saw I have never seen a team with pure speed top to bottom like the team RR is building. 09 will be just a glimpse of the team that 2010 should bring. There is only 3 months to go

I know, I can't wait to see them play already but I don't want to wish the summer away (when/if it gets here) so soon after such a brutal winter.

This guy is sweet. I don't care what rivals ranks him he is great for Michigan. Looks like a heck of a player.
