I am not someone with a routing interest in seeing the M-Den succeed but I am someone who believes in supporting the local shops. M-Den has been a Michigan football standard for quiet awhile now and its only because of the almighty dollar that they got hosed! I love Bill Martin but I dont like this move. Yes he is helping bring in more revenue to the program and the Athletic Department as a whole but in doing so he cuts ties with an organization built by an Alum and an organization that helps provide for those in and around Ann Arbor. Its unfortunate to say the least and I for one will continue to shop at the M-den and their online store. I would rather my money went to them then this esports bullshit

I remember when the M-Den opened around 1985 in Kalamazoo. I had bought my first official football jersey from them. It eventually closed and I then had to purchase in AA or now online. I bought an excellent hooded sweatshirt from them at the spring game. It's THE best sweatshirt that I have EVER had.

I got the hoody with the hood that is designed like the helmet. I love it! I bought it at the mden at the Utah game last year. Best Michigan hoody I own

M Den is good, but I always thought Moe's had the best stuff. I loved the Polaroid pictures of Anthony Carter, Ricky Green and other Michigan greats in the back of the store.

I don't like seeing the profits and therefore jobs go out of state, and I've never been dissatisfied with MDen's goods or services so I have to say I think this stinks. To me it kinda feels like when WJR decided they weren't going to cover all the Michigan games anymore. It's just wrong... in a tradition sort of way. At least it is to me. Of course I can also remember when WTKA (I think) did all the broadcasts with Ufer at the Mic. But I was just a kid back then. And I've heard it said that MDen has only been the contract holder for a few years, but it seems like they always have been to me. Just feels wrong... don't know how else to explain myself.:(
Anyone else feel this way???

Well im 25 and if my memory serves me I believe the M-Den got their original contract in the mid 80's. Maybe 85-86? Anyway As long as I have been going to Michigan games its always been the M-Den. Sometimes we would hit the one in Briarwood on the way home from the game. Couple years ago I blew $352 on M stuff! I understand the business aspect of the deal that Martin made. UM is getting paid handsomely for their marketing rights and a business like the M-Den just cant compete with that but I have always been one to support the local businesses. I dont think that Bill Martin sold the universitys soul but it will be really wierd not seeing the M-Den trailer right as I come into the gate. Instead it will be "The Official University of Michigan Store". It just doesnt have the same pop
