Encouraged by Medic's post of typically great factual data, I personally like to keep track of things people have actually said. Sometimes this approach gets me in trouble in personal life because people think I'm holding a grudge or that I simply have a memory like an elephant....I like to think I remember things because I want people to be responsible and accountable. I've included a few short clips (all should be under a minute of so), so those with short memories can remember how we were fed this stimulus BS.

Here's the lies we were originally told about the stimulus package from the Man Himself:

Here's what they really thought about the package, but never told us while they were rushing it through Congress:

Here's a quick synopsis on how the plan is working:

Here's how Obama is now telling that the stimulus was actually supposed to do something else and that it is indeed working:

All I want to know is, "Where are the jobs, motherf#$%er?!!" More than that, what happened to getting the money into ready made projects quickly? 6 months in and only about 14% spent? I personally new it wouldn't work because that's what I've come to expect from any government venture. I'll let the rest of you make up your own minds.

And now I'm reading at least one of his advisors thinks they need to do another stimulus.

If government is going to step in and not the free market correct itself, then it's going to delay any type of recovery. This plan is in place because Wall Street came begging for money. Unemployment figures are a lagging indicator so you'll see the market recover before you'll job creation. I thought that second video was right on - no one knew what the fuck was going on. They just guessed on worse case unemployment figures - the fact that they have only spent 14% shows they just picked a randomly high number and in fact didn't need it - just trying to soothe uneasy markets. The reason they only spent 14% is because Wall Street is scrabbling to pay it back so they don't have anywhere else to use it. You know Mr. Government, sometimes you have to let you citizens learn the hard way and stay out of it.

Here's what I'm wondering.

Two years ago, President Bush, along with Senators Kennedy & McCain, tried to railroad through amnesty for all of the illegal aliens living in this country. Due to public outcry, the bill failed in the Senate and the only thing that happened was a funding bill to build a fence along our southern border.

The reasoning then was the American public wanted the federal government to first stop the illegal border crossings before anything else could be addressed about the illegal aliens presently here.

Fair enough.

We now have nearly 10% unemployment, a stimulus bill of $700 plus billion for supposed "shovel ready jobs" - and the fence still isn't completed.

And, we can all assume President Obama and the Democrats in Congress will want to hopefully lock up the Latino vote for a generation or two, so Amensty Part II is probably going to be introduced sometime in 2011.

Would it be too much to expect the fence to be completed before then? Of course we know the answer is yes because the Democrats were never in favor of the fence in the first place.

Yet another example of our broken government at work.

Finally I have a reason to be proud to live in Ohio - this is the 1st state that Barry Hussein's approval rating has dipped below 50%. Of course these dipshits helped put him in the White House in the 1st place, and now only 6 months later are having buyer's remorse. How tragic...

same scenario with clinton. they bought into the lies then watched as he signed bill after bill sending manufacturing jobs flooding out of the state and country and the nazi dems were slaughtered once again in 1994 and on. now we have governor strickland starting to show his true colors at the worst possible time and well, wash, rinse, history repeats.
