I respect your right to your opinions, but - IMO - Walter Cronkite was a journalist who was far superior in integrity and objectivity to those who either report or create the news today. Did he have his opinions, yes, however, in the analysis of his reporting, I find it very rare where his personal opinions impacted his reporting and objectiveness of the facts.

I have several friends who worked for his production company, and though his personal opinions may have been liberal, I never had the impression that they diffused or tainted his reporting.
