I think the constant negativity from the pro MSU instate press has swayed some of the local recruits away but that doesn't mean that we can't go out and recruit similar talent nationally. The constant bashing of Rich Rod and Michigan is all these recruits here in this state. I think we have enough good young talent on the roster to ride this out but Rich Rod has to win a respectable amount of games this year and then he will have some ammunition to keep these players. All these players hear is how Michigan is losing and about nothing but constant turmoil. A solid season this year could change the negative perception. Rich Rod will have to bring the best coaching of his life to the table this year and win and that will drive the spike into the negative press. If he loses like he has the last two seasons things in state just get worse and the press has more fuel for the fire. I support Rich Rod and hope with all I have that the breaks can go his way this season and we can steal a few games instead of likewise. Lloyd, Mo and Bo always had the top players in the state to fall back on had things gone bad nationally. If Rich Rod wins he will have that too. Then again I'd like to see us land players who want to come to Michigan and bring Michigan back the former glory. Just a few years back Bama was in the dumps and they managed to get those players. If top local players are too scared of losing and they themselves don't believe they can win then perhaps they should follow the sheep somewhere else.

Just because someone makes a glancing comment about someone doesn't mean you have to change it to a thread about the buckeyes great depth.
Hail to the Victors, I'm a firm supporter of RR, and I will be until he is gone from Michigan. Rather that be 1 or 30 years.

This years class should be similar to last years class based on what we are getting so far. A top twenty class should be the final outcome this season with top 15 if the team performs on the field and wins. What I like about the looks of the players is that many grew up Michigan fans and are happy to be coming to Michigan and play for the Maize and Blue. Alot like last years class. These guys should be very coachable with little attrition. It works for me.
